Home Business Momentum: Do You Have It?

home business momentumAre you having “home business momentum?”  If you aren’t, then you will want to get there fast.

Because if you aren’t having home business momentum, then it means that you are probably stuck, and you are stuck in a big, big way.   Momentum is what brings results.

As I wrote in a post a few days ago, there was some really enlightening stuff that Lawrence Tam said on an Empower Network call a couple of weeks ago.  I will throw it down right now once again because…

What Do You Read Every Day?

No seriously, what do you read every day?  I have been really trying to hammer this home to my team lately.  You need to read every day in order to better yourself in your business.

I will also throw out the caveat that you could watch some type of course video or video content in place of reading if you wish.   But the point is, you need to be advancing your knowledge every single day.

For me, I am just knee deep in the Costa Rica Master’s Retreat course that Empower Network offers, and what I am learning in each video is just blowing me away.  The really amazing thing about that series is that it has the top of the top leaders letting you know that they are real people.  That weren’t all super wealthy instantly.  They all struggled, and it gives you (well at least me) the chance to relate.

Do You Need A Kick In The Butt?

Kick In The ButtThat seems to be the million dollar question these days, so yeah, do you need a kick in the butt?  I know for a fact that I do.  Day in and day out, I get up to live a full blown life of two professions.  One is being a physician, and another is being an online/network marketer.

Each and every day, I try to provide massive value to people’s lives through each profession.  Yes, you can provide MASSIVE value to people by teaching them how to make income from the comfort of their couch.

But what I have come to realize lately is…

Is The MLM Industry Worth It?

MLM IndustryI am almost 100% sure that anyone reading this post has asked themselves the question, “Is the MLM industry worth it?”  I mean, in what other field or business do people roll their eyes at you or put up their hand while simultaneously telling you, “OH, I’m not doing one of those pyramid things!”

It is very unfortunate that many people have their mind made up about network marketing, but still, one in four people in the US have been a part of the MLM industry in some way, shape, or form.

The other sad fact that often accompanies the previous stat is that 97% of network marketers fail, and by fail, I mean that in a financially specific sense.  Often, people do not make back their initial investment, or if they do, then they might only break even, never to see a profit.

I Was Robbed!

I Was RobbedNo seriously, I was robbed three nights ago.  It is a horrible and crappy thing to have happen to a person, and now I can add my name to the list of victims who have been burglarized.

And the worst part is not having over $2800 worth of stuff taken from me.  Yes, that is a bad part of it, but it is not the worst.  The worst is the feeling of getting violated, knowing that someone can break into your own personal space is so ridiculously intrusive.

Thank God that neither my wife nor I encountered the people who did it in mid action.  I don’t know what I would have done if I caught them red-handed or what they would do to me.

Be That Guy With His “Pants On The Ground”

If you are not a fan of American Idol, that’s ok.  I’m not either.  However, I do find myself watching it occasionally from time to time, and since my wife is an avid fan, I have started to watch the audition shows over this past week.

You definitely see some interesting characters on that show, and the 2009 season was one of the most epic.  It had General Larry Platt feature his made up song of “Pants On The Ground”.  If you haven’t seen it, then you should really check it out.  It is quite a catchy tune.
