To all my Marine Corps brothers and sisters….it is that time of year once again. It is where most Marines and Sailors will dress up in their nice Alphas or SDBs to commemorate the birthday of the beloved Corps.
But for those of us that are currently deployed, it takes on a new meaning.
There are no dress uniforms worn this year.
There are no fancy ballrooms in which to dance the night away.
There are no admin rooms to let off steam.
There is only family this year, the Marine Corps family, with whom to celebrate and remember the phenomenal heritage set forth by those that came before us
Happy Birthday Marines!
