Initial Thoughts On Randy Gage’s "Risky Is The New Safe" | Dr. Timothy Lawler

Initial Thoughts On Randy Gage’s “Risky Is The New Safe”

I am just diving into Randy Gage’s new book, “Risky Is The New Safe”, and I must say that I am getting completely sucked in.  I am only about 1/3 of the way through it right now, but I wanted to stop real fast and write this quick review, giving you my initial thoughts.

First off, Randy Gage is a badass.

Yes, I say lots of people are badass because, well, I think lots of people are badass.  And now Randy Gage has been added to that list.

The reason that I describe him as such is because he is a revolutionary thinker in my mind.  Even this early on in his new book, Risky Is The New Safe, he quotes over and over again something that I love…

When everyone else is zigging, you need to be zagging.

I freakin’ love that!

I mean, you always hear this idea from the biggest and best entrepreneurs, but the way he put that mentality, in those words specifically, is just badass.

But moving on.

So what does Gage throw out there this early on in Risky Is The New Safe?

Well, in a general sense, it’s how everything we know at this moment….will not likely be here in the next 10 years.  Specifically, the way that big time businesses and governments handle their processes.

For instance, it is very obvious that he agrees with my personal belief that the Euro is doomed in the next 2-3 years, and I will personally add that the US dollar is not far behind.  (Check out my piece on Jim Rickards recent interview right here.)  He touches briefly on that in the first few chapters.

But then he goes on to mention that big businesses as we know it now, will not be operating this way, in even the next 3-5 years.

Why?

Because technology and animals will be taking over tens of THOUSANDS of jobs that people currently hold at big institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Chiquita Banana.

Hell, he even starts out the book with how monkeys are being trained as I write this post to harvest coconuts.  It costs only $300 per monkey, and once they are trained how to do it, they can harvest up to 1,000 coconuts per day.

Or, how about his quick meeting with a couple on a plane that just picked up their brand new cloned puppy.  Yes, I’m talking about a 100% cloned dog from their recently deceased four legged friend.

Things are changing my friends, and this is only the tip of the iceberg with what Gage talks about in Risky Is The New Safe.

But the really cool thing is when there is massive change ….there is even bigger opportunity.

How about holo-suites that give you a quick virtual reality vacation to Bora Bora after a long day’s work at the powerplant?  Think this is fantasy?  Think again.  This is being developed right now.

Or how about having a surgeon do a heart transplant from the middle of his living room with the robotic arms doing all the actual cutting on the patient 20 miles down the road at St. Vincent’s hospital.   Again, happening as I write this post.

With massive change comes massive opportunity.

That is what Risky Is The New Safe is all about.

Again, I’m just into the first 1/3 of the book, and I’ll put up a video review when I finish it in the next few days.  But my friends, I highly suggest picking up a copy of Risky is the New Safe at Amazon right now.

I don’t think you will be sorry.  Standby for the final review.

Until next time…

Dr. Timothy Lawler
