As I sit down to write this post tonight, I am tired. Like really, really tired. Some would say that it is poor planning on my part, not to write it earlier in the day or even earlier in the week. Others might give me kudos just for getting it up.
In either case, I’m here.
I’m pushing through the resistance of not blogging tonight.
I’m pushing through the exhaustion.
I’m pushing through the excuses.
How am I doing it?
I’m just doing it.
That’s how you push through the resistance.
You just move!
You just act!
You just do!
This is what will separate you being great from you falling short, in not only your business, but in life.
If you have never done it before, that’s ok. It takes just THAT much more effort to make the push initially to get through that barrier. But once you have done it once, it becomes easier and easier to do in the future.
I know that I needed to blog today.
Because I hadn’t blogged yet.
Remember how I always talk about leaders? Well leaders lead from the front. They don’t ask something of their team that they aren’t willing to do themselves.
I believe in blogging, and ask my team to strive to blog daily.
If I’m not willing to do that, how can I ask them to do it.
Therefore, this helps give me a little extra push, a little extra drive.
I lead from the front so I am blogging tonight.
Tired. Exhausted. And I’m getting it done.
The question is…
Until next time…
