So yeah, I was rolling out some shots this past week. Flu shots that is. It’s that time of year again, and being in the military, it is mandatory that all active duty personal get a flu shot.
And this is where the fun begins because EVERYBODY tries to get out of getting their flu shot.
I mean, these are grown ass men and women who try to make up every excuse in the book to get out of getting their flu shot.
“I have to write this report.”
“I need to go get food.”
“I already had it.” (Really? Because I’m pretty sure that I’m on the only one, as your physician, that can be giving this to you!)
No matter what they say…they will eventually get stuck with a needle.
However, many, many people try to get out of getting their flu shot, just as many people make up excuses for not working their home based business.
“I’m too tired when I get home.”
“I think blogging is boring.”
“Why won’t money just jump into my bank account automatically with me not doing anything?!” (Not really an excuse but pretty much the mindset people have when they make excuses).
Come on guys.
This beautiful industry of being a home based business owner takes some work, and you can’t use excuses. Trust me, I’ve tried.
To put it into perspective, there are SO many more people that have it way harder than you do…. I promise you this.
Some people have just lost a loved one. Others are suffering from a debilitating disease. Yet others might be paralyzed.
If you are able to read these words, it means that you actually don’t have it THAT bad, regardless of whether you think that you do or not.
If you want to succeed, you have to pull yourself together, push through the obstacles, and project your inner badassness.
When it starts to come through, you are then completely unstoppable.
Just don’t make excuses like everyone else. It shows that you have already given up.
Make the decision today to release your inner badassness. You can do it.
Until next time…
