This Needs To Be Conversational

Hey Gang,

I’m getting ready to head out with my boys to the club, but I was just re-watching the second core video on Empower Network with Dave and Dave….and holy cow is all I can say.

Sometimes, no matter how many times you watch something or review a piece of content, it just slaps you in the face.

During that video, David Wood throws out his secret to success when he first started blogging, and it was pretty simple.  Essentially…he talked about making sure your blog becomes a conversational piece, the spark of a relationship, not just boring titles and words to get traffic.

Now don’t get me wrong, writing blog posts to be optimized for SEO is very important too, but at the same time, you want people to be engaged with you.  If you are super boring and just like everyone else, then nobody will engage with you.

They will just move on.  End of discussion.

I am guilty of this myself, but I am going to make a conscious effort to be more conversational.  I want you to join in my conversations if you think my content is worth speaking about.

My entire goal of my blog is to educate and inform.  I want to help others in the marketing and home business profession succeed.  Therefore, it needs to be a two way communication street, not just me trying to get ranked on the search engines or trying to sell an affiliate product.

Again, not that there is anything wrong with that, but I just want to provide value to you, plain and simple.  If you haven’t checked out the 8 core values at Empower Network, I would most definitely give them a look.  You have to become a member in order to do so, but it is worth it.

I learned something new today, and I think that you would too.  Let me know your thoughts after you watch it by placing your comments in the area below.

Until next time…
