Thirty Hour Calls Blow | Dr. Timothy Lawler

Thirty Hour Calls Blow

It’s about 3:30am, and I have been up for just about 22hrs straight.  I’m in the middle of a 30hr call in the Intensive Care Unit, and I’m just getting crushed.  Admit number 5, then 6, then 7….

“I’m just a damn intern” I think to myself…..and they keep coming…

Admission number 8, then 9….

Oh Lord….please kill me now.

It just so happens that I’m the only intern on as well, and my resident is handling a central line placement in a 67yr old cancer patient whose pressure is tanking, and then the person in bed 10 is starting to go downhill as well.

Why in the hell did I choose this profession again?

Six hours later…we are in the middle of rounds, and I’m presenting patient number 7…or is 8?…. of 9….and I awake to the sound of my attending pimping the crap out of me.

Yup, I fell asleep standing up…..I mean it’s normal to not sleep for 28hrs, right?

After the shellacking by my seniors, I finally have the pleasure of driving home 20 minutes to my own bed….this is safe…..

Fast forward to where I’m at now, and I could not be happier.  Medical residency is one of the worst things that any human being will ever have to endure, and every time I replay a night like the one above (and there were MANY), I start to cringe.

But no more my friends….

Thanks to a little thing call Internet marketing and phenomenal courses, such as the Empower Network, that teach you how to navigate these crazy seas…anyone can do it!  Check it out how to do it now!

– Break –

Yes, the above was intentionally written to be a little corny at the end, but I think that I got my purpose across.   Stories elicit emotions, and then in turn, suck people in to listen to your message.  You are able to get them into a little trance so that they ultimately buy from you.

“Stories sell, facts tell”

You may have heard that once or a thousand times in your marketing life before, but it is so true….and it’s a lesson that I don’t use enough in my marketing.

I was going through the Costa Rica Intensive part of the Empower Network training series, and David Wood is just simply a freakin’ genius.  He dove into this point on video 3, and I just finished watching it, which inspired me to write this post.

Seriously, if you want to learn how to market yourself better online, and in turn, make more income, you have to try out the Empower Network.  I know that you won’t be sorry.

Until next time…
