So this past week, I was disappointed in myself. You see, I have been blogging for the past several weeks, under the promise that I will do it at least 6 days per week. Well, for the first time in about 2 months, I missed 3 days in any particular week. Reason being, my wife and I had family in town, and each day was jam packed with activities.
But I don’t care. I missed the mark.
However, I will not use it as an excuse to give up as so many other people would do in this situation. They would give in to the temptation to throw in the towel, say network marketing doesn’t work, and become another statistic.
I am not going to do that. I refuse to become another statistic. I instead choose to be an inspiration to others.
Yes, I missed a few days, but I will continue on. I will keep plugging away, not only because I love to give value to others, but it is what leaders do. If you want to succeed in this business, you have to be willing to do the small things consistently.
Even though writing every day seems like a minimal task, it is MASSIVELY important. It is what I teach my team, and I would never expect them to do something that I am not doing myself.
I will not stop. I will learn from this experience, and use it to better prepare for future time challenges. I want my team to do the same thing, that is, learn from my mistakes. Don’t make excuses. Continue to be a rockstar. Provide value and meaning to others. Help them overcome obstacles.
By doing the little things time after time, you will be ridiculously successful.
Until next time…
